Luca Purpura graduated in Law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2002 and got a Ph.D. in National and International Commercial Law from the same University.

He lectures courses in various masters and, since 2007, he is a researcher on Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the Università Cattolica. Since 2012 he is lecturer in Financial Market Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Milan-Bicocca.

He is naming partner of the legal firm Portale Purpura – Studio Legale Associato in Milan, with a specialization on corporate, bank and financial law. He is author of various publications on corporate and financial law.
