Master in International Cooperation and Development - MICaD

Course structure

The Master provides multidisciplinary training and specialized technical and managerial competences to understand local and international events, to interact with all stakeholders, to identify and manage environmentally and local culture-friendly interventions

  1. The limited number of students in the class allows for their effective interactions with instructors, with professionals, and with the international group of peers;
  2. Class activities include lectures and open discussions, simulations, case studies, team work and presentations;
  3. Experts and executives take an active part in the program, sharing their professional experiences with the students and enhancing students’ real-life skills,
  4. Internship experience provides an opportunity for students to directly apply and develop the skills acquired during courses.

Master’s time schedule
 

Classes begin in mid-January 2018 and run until July 2018. Teaching activities will be scheduled from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Attendance to classes and other activities within the Master's program is compulsory.

After in-class educational sessions, all students will undertake their professional training with the internship that gives students the invaluable opportunity to strengthen the competences acquired during the Master.

The Graduation Day ceremony is expected in December 2018.

Assessment and Diploma

1st level Specializing Master's Degree by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italian Law D.M. 509/99) will be granted at the end of the Master’s course upon achievement of 60 CFU, gained through the attendance to all the Master activities and the positive results in the examinations taken
