How to apply

NEWS:

The application deadline for the Master in Middle Eastern Studies (MIMES) has been extended until November 12nd for international candidates and November 30th for Italian candidates.


Entry requirements

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University recognized by Italian law
  • English proficiency
  • Strong motivation

Candidates who plan to graduate by March 2018 are admitted to apply for the 2017-2018 edition of the program.


Application procedure

Applicant with an Italian Bachelor only: complete the online Application form (register with your name and surname as they are written in the passport or identity card).

All other applicants (non-EU, applicants with an international qualification and other EU citizens) can apply here

Required documents for all applicants to submit online:

  • Copy of Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
  • Transcripts of Bachelor or Master's Degree (accepted in English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese)
  • Updated CV
  • Application essay
  • At least one academic letter of reference
  • Copy of passport

TOEFL/iBT, Academic IELTS or having completed a degree program taught in English are considered a preferential requirement for applicants whose first language is not English

APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 12nd for international candidates and November 30th for Italian candidates.

Application are now open and will be evaluated in an ongoing process. Since the Master has a limited number of places, early applications have a greater chance of being successful.

Students wanting to be considered for scholarships are advised to apply by these deadlines as a majority of the scholarships will be assigned within these first calls
September 15, 2017 Some scholarships may still be available but very limited. For greater chance to receive a scholarship it is advised to apply by the priority consideration deadline above

Partial scholarships are available also for Italian students and are granted upon decision of the Evaluating Committee.


Selection

Candidates will be evaluated through: 

Maximum number of participants is 25. Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore reserves the right to cancel the Master's course should it not recruit a viable number of students.
