The Master in International Cooperation and Development offers a solid interdisciplinary and problem-oriented training to graduates from different faculties who plan to work in the field of international cooperation and development. It aims at broadening students' conceptual and analytical abilities, equipping them with both academic and professional skills. The practical objective is to enable participants to manage international development projects in complex, multi-dimensional and multi-cultural environments.
The Master's course focuses on the evolving economic, political, social and cultural issues related to international cooperation and development as well as on professional skills and methodological tools. The elevated level of training is completed by a research project and an internship period.
Italian is the prevalent language of instruction.
At the end of the Master, career outlooks are open in national and international organisations, NGOs, companies working on development problems or in developing countries and other institutions. Employment opportunities are built on the previous background of our students and include positions such as aid program manager, development consultant, researcher and advisor.
The Master's Diploma (Level I) will be granted by the Università Cattolica after the achievement of 60 credits gained through the attendance to all the Master activities and the positive results in the examinations taken.
The Master in International Cooperation and Development will start next January 2010 at ASERI campus in Milan.

Testimonianze
Francesco Ponzoni, MACIS 2006/2007, Cooperazione Italiana - Kabul
Alberto Cremonesi, MACIS 2007/2008, COOPI International Planning Office - Milano
