Grbac Deborah

Deborah Grbac, graduated at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milano, holds a PhD in Public Law (European Union Law) and some other previous diplomas (Diplôme d'études européennes, Diplôme d'études approfondies en Droit communautaire ) in European Law delivered by the Université Toulouse 1 Capitole. Former clerk for the University Administration (1999-2008), since 2008 she is a Librarian at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, where, from 2010 she has been a Trainer in Information Literacy Courses, held both in Italian and English, for the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences. She is also a Cataloguer and a Reference Librarian in Political Science. In September 2017 she attended an Erasmus Staff Week organized in Toulouse for librarians, in October 2021, she virtually attended the 39th Annual Course of the International Association of Law Librarians, always organized in Toulouse. Since 2018 she is the local contact person for the United Nations System of Depository Libraries. She is author of many papers on various topics: Information Knowledge Management, Scientific Terminology, Scholarly Communication, Open Access, Open Science, discussed in International Conferences and Workshops, both held in person and online. Finally, she is author of scientific articles for different scientific Journals as “Rivista italiana di Informatica e diritto” (former "Informatica e diritto"), “Biblioteche oggi” and “Umanistica digitale”. In June 2019 she participated to a Symposium organized at the United Nations Library in Geneva and in September the same year she participated to the Librarian Annual Conference in Milano, on both occasions she spoke about activities done as a United Nations Depository Librarian.
