Samuele C.A. Abrami is a Ph.D. candidate at the UCSC in Milan, where he is also a subject expert in the courses of History and Institutions of Asia and a lecturer in Turkish Politics. He is a research assistant at the International Center for Contemporary Turkish Studies and Ce.St.In.Geo. Between 2022 and 2024, Samuele has been a YTB-UACES visiting fellow at Sabancı University in Istanbul for his project about the link between internal and external dimensions in Turkish Foreign Policy. He also works on Turkey’s relations with the EU and the Wider Mediterranean. Since 2023, he has been part of the Turkey-Europe Future Forum and the German-Italian Spinelli Forum. Supported by a CM-Lerici grant, he is now a visiting researcher at the Stockholm Institute for Turkish Studies.
