Di Cera Fabio

Fabio di Cera has been working in multilateralism since 2002. He currently holds the position of External Relations Officer at the World Health Organization (WHO), conducting due diligence and risk assessment on WHO engagement with non-State actors (NGOs, philanthropies, private sector entities and academic institutions) and therefore supporting technical departments at the global, regional and country levels when envisaging engagement with external entities.

He acted as trade negotiator to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), in the fields of industrial goods, agriculture and trade and environment, but also to several Geneva based Multilateral Environmental Agreements, in the areas of chemicals, waste, conservation and climate change.

He is a visiting professor and lecturer on multilateral diplomacy, with great focus on trade and development issues, from the developing-country and Latin American-Caribbean perspectives, at different pre-graduate and post-graduate schools, such as ASERI and the University of Melbourne – Law School.

He graduated with honours in International Studies at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas (2000) and then earned a Master in Economics and International Relations from ASERI in Milan (2002). He received the ASERI Students Association (ASA) Career Award in 2003.
