Ignacio Lara received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), an M.A. in Markets and Institutions of the Global System from the ASERI (Italy), and a Ph.D. in Politics and Institutions from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano (Italy).
Former chief of Staff of the Vice-president of the Valencian Community government (Spain), he has extensive work experience in Italy, Argentina, and Spain, in the public, private, and third sectors. Sound professional expertise in public policy, strategic planning, and the design and implementation of socio-political projects in NGOs. He is also a senior researcher and university lecturer in political science, specializing in international relations (geopolitics of energy and regional governance).
