Attending the MAGS at ASERI was an engaging experience. An international and multidisciplinary program that broadened my academic and professional horizons, offering the chance to learn from excellent professors and work alongside peers from all over the world. I highly recommend it to anyone aiming to understand and tackle the global challenges of today and tomorrow.

The MAGS Master gave me the chance to work on real policy projects, allowing me to apply theory to practice. The program’s strong focus on economics, international relations  and conflict resolution, coupled with my internship  significantly deepened my understanding of the world and international relations.

Choosing the Master in Advanced Global Studies at ASERI has been a meaningful step, as it has helped me navigate the complexity of international relations and its many career paths that many if us are unaware of. The small class size fosters interaction with professors, professionals, and students, creating a space where diverse perspectives deepen both understanding and discussion, making it a rich, well-rounded learning environment from every angle.

Being aware of the different factors that contribute to making a country 'attractive' for possible investment is crucial for a company. This is what Luca Parisi (MAGS 2022/23) has done for BICASA, a manufacturer of equipment and furniture for scientific laboratories during his internship.

Working local, acting global. Like Viola Rezzaro (MAGS 2022/23) who, working from the offices of the Milan Municipality, has done her internship at the European Funds and Programs Department.

Thanks to its multidisciplinary approach, the Master in Advanced Global Studies opens to very different career paths from the private sector to Public Administrations.

From the MAGS classroom to Nairobi, in Kenia. Now working for the United Nations. 
Takeaways from the MAGS, how the Master in Advanced Global Studies has helped to boost her career and some suggestions to best approach the Master. 

I am currently working as Executive Assistant in McKinsey & Company. As an Executive Assistant, I support my three Partners agendas sustaining the relations between the Firm and the clients. 
During my jouney within the master's I had the opportunity to attend several studies that helped me have a wider underestanding and wisdom on European Istitutions without realizing that this enourmous baggage of knowledge would have been so resourceful for my current job. 

The year spent at ASERI has been a highly enriching experience from every point of view. The plus of the Master, for me, is given by the diversity I had to face every single day in the class, where everything was an opportunity to discuss and confront with other students and professors of different backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. Almost six months after the end of the Master I can say that all my expectations have been completely satisfied: I feel I have gained a better understanding of myself and of the world and the people around me.

I enrolled in MAGS hoping to gain valuable knowledge and skills that would prepare me for my professional career: the program taught me the fundamentals of international diplomatic exchange, which has been helpful at my current position in consulting international clients from different backgrounds. The variety of courses has provided me with the vital expertise necessary for any field related to international relations. As project consultant at APCO Worldwide, I work with clients from all over the world. Digital transformation, humanitarian aid or social networks are all part of my day-to-day work.
