Stefania Battistini has been working in Rai for twenty years. She is currently a Special Correspondent for Tg1. She has been following Russia's war against Ukraine since the beginning of February 2022, ten days before the Russian invasion. An experience in the field on which she wrote Una guerra Ingiusta per Piemme and which earned her, among others, the Premiolino, the Scalfari Prize, the Boccaccio, the Biagio Agnes, the Maria Grazia Cutuli, the Flaiano International Awards. 
After October 7, he covered the first phase of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, also reporting on the situation in the West Bank. For Speciali Tg1 he worked between Syria and Iraq to tell the places liberated from Isis, in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. In 2020 she covered the Covid-19 pandemic in Lombardy and Sweden for Tg1, which earned her the May Chidiac Foundation International Journalism Award, Lebanon.
For RaiStoria and RaiCultura he has created programs dedicated to gender equality, Ceiling of Crystal and Without Gender Distinction with Marta Cartabia.
