International Relations and Political Science

An editorial project of international scope that brings to Italy the most authoritative voices of the world debate

The series "International Relations and Political Science", directed by Prof. Vittorio Emanuele Parsi and published by Vita e Pensiero, was created with the aim of offering the Italian and international academic debate reference works for understanding the dynamics of politics and the global economy.

  • The inaugural volume, "What a difference can a day make. War, Peace and Security after September 11" (2003), paved the way for a rigorous and interdisciplinary editorial path, with contributions from world-renowned scholars such as Luigi Bonanate, Robert Gilpin, G. John Ikenberry and Matthew Evangelista
  • Over the years, the series has hosted original texts and translations of central figures of international thought – including John Ikenberry, Charles Kupchan, Hedley Bull, Michael Ignatieff – opening the Italian panorama to the great voices of the global debate
