Deborah Russetti is Lecturer of Law and Economics of International Organisations at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She graduated summa cum laude from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan Law School in 2003. She obtained a Master degree in Markets and Institutions of the Global System from the Graduate School of Economics and International Relations (ASERI) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2004. She obtained a PhD in International Law and Economics at Bocconi University in 2012.
Dr. Russetti was enrolled as a Visiting Fellow (2005) at the Anti-Corruption Unit of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Organized Crime in Vienna. Since 2005 she has been appointed as teaching and research assistant at Post-Graduate level at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She was admitted as Research Fellow at the University of Columbia Law School from February to October 2010.
As attorney at law she has been practicing with Mazzoni & Associati law firm in Milan since 2005. Now she is in Carnelutti firm.

In the context of commercial relations between private individuals, the course aims to offer a general overview of the sources of international commercial law, deepening the main problems inherent in international contracts and the resolution of commercial disputes between private individuals. In the context of relations between States, however, the aim of the course is to analyze the instruments of protection of foreign investments offered by multilateral and bilateral treaties.
