Overview

Training in the safe and effective use of methodologies for the collection of information from open sources (OSINT) is increasingly a necessity in the digital network world. The current condition, in fact, is that of living in a context of information overload where the intelligence of the scenario is the result of a competent activity of collection, selection and interpretation of the available information.

The Summer Schoolprovides these skills appropriate to the C4 Intelligence model developed by ITSTIME, addressing the process in all its aspects, in the new perspective of the digital society that overcomes the dichotomous model between real and virtual, and introducing safe techniques for operators who will therefore be able to use OSINT methodologies, SOCMINT, Digital HUMINT and Avatar Management.

A specific focus is reserved for the use of Artificial Intelligence to support Intelligence and OSINT techniques as a powerful innovative tool.

LM students, young professionals, executives and managers of public and private companies or organizations.

Requirements:
Each participant must have a PC with Windows OS (for MAC: virtualize Windows on the PC) that can be connected to a wi-fi network, with enough space for the use of some software that will be provided, and activate personal accounts on the platforms that will be indicated (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.)

At the end of the activities, participants will have acquired the following knowledge and skills, attested by the issue of an Open Badge, included in the C4 Intelligence model, developed by ITSESTIMATE in four steps and in particular:

  • Knowledge: through a process of acquisition of information concerning objects and relationships (complex systems)
  • Comprehension: which requires both knowledge of the data and the information acquired (also empathically) to make sense of the scenario in the light of an interpretative model
  • Awareness: about the risk and threat to which one is exposed
  • Communication: the relationship between those who carry out the intelligence process and the client who expresses a need for knowledge

The participants:

The C4 Intelligence Summer School is aimed at:

  • LM students
  • young professionals
  • executives and managers of public and private companies or organizations.
